So I tried to correct the two problems with my previous
Splendid Sampler™ block. I think the color scheme is wonderful! Love it! It's perfect, except ... I made it too big!!! I guess this time round I made the seam allowance, way too scant a 1/4 inch, and my lock finished at 7" square! Really? Really! I guess accuracy is what I will be aiming for next time... if there ever is one :-). Maybe I should stop trying to sew something this accurate when I'm down with a bad cold. The aches and pains are making it difficult to focus, and sometimes I hurry trying to get something done, so I can take another nap. I hope I sleep well tonight, and then maybe tomorrow I muster the courage to give it one final try ... and get it right!
